Benefits of acuraScreen

HIGH SERVICE TEMPERATURES -  filtercartridges all made from stainless steel with threaded connector ends - or high temperature gaskets.

HIGH FLOWRATES -   combined with a low differential pressure.

LONG SERVICE LIFE -  high withstands of pressure drops assure constant filtration results - and reduce working costs.

BROAD CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY -  acuraScreen all stainless steel for compatibility with a wide range of process fluids.

EXCELLENT MATERIAL CHARCTERISTICS -  high corrosive properties, high viscosity, high purity, perfectly controlled particle removal efficiency.

EXTENSIVE PROGRAM -  interchangeable filter elements with a wide range of micron ratings for all standard filter housings.

acuraScreen  Construction

Betamesh®

acuraScreen filtercartridges comprise a woven metal filter media, made up of stainless steel wires, fixed on a stainless steel core. Depending on the micron rating we use "Plain Square Weave" (>90µm) or "Twilled Dutch Weave".

The filtercartridges can be easily cleaned by using various methods like backflushing, ultrasonic cleaning or chemical cleaning. acuraScreen filtercartridges have been developed for filtration of fluids with high temperature, high viscosity, high purity and corrosive properties. acuraScreen stainless steel cartridges are available with flat gaskets at both ends or all standard adaptor configurations.

Twilled Dutch Weave

Betamesh®-With this type of weave, the warp wires are always thicker than the weft wires. The proximity of the weft wires to each other results in a so-called 'closed mesh'. Its particular advantages lie in its efficient through-flow capacity and uniform apertures.
Micron rating 20-90 µm
During braiding, the weft wires are forced together. In each case, one warp wire is woven over multiple weft wires. By comparison with a plain braid, this weave has double the number of weft wires. The advantages lie in its smooth surface and ultra-fine filtration.
Micron rating 1-20 µm
